FITC-labeled Triactinomyxon (TAM)The free living lifecycle stage of the microscopic parasite Myxobolus cerebralis, the causative agent of Whirling disease. Whirling disease is a disease of salmonid fish (trout, salmon, whitefish). The TAM was incubated with a mouse monoclonal Ab and then visualized using FITC-goat anti- mouse IgG (H+L) (Jackson ImmunoResearch, code number 115-095-008).
